🔧 Behind the Scenes: Rebuilding the Studio Setup
To celebrate the release, I’m breaking down a major overhaul in the studio. To power my latest productions, I’ve officially upgraded to the new Apple M4 24GB Mac mini! 🚀
Because Focusrite disabled Mix Control for 1st-generation sound cards (including my trusty 6i6), I needed a new solution to route audio to my Slate VSX headphones on outputs 3–4.
Enter the MOTU M4 audio interface. The ESS Sabre 32 converters are absolutely stunning, and combined with MOTU's low-latency drivers, it delivers exceptional quality and value for independent music production.

👉 DJ SOUL JONES IS NOW ANDY J. SOUL!

SAME SOUL, NEW NAME: WELCOME TO THE NEXT CHAPTER

To my fans, partners, and listeners,

I am writing to share an important update regarding my music journey. Due to trademark complexities, I am officially retiring the name DJ Soul Jones, moving forward as Andy J. Soul

While the name on the release radar is changing, the music, energy, and passion remain exactly the same. This change allows me to protect my brand, clear up any legal confusion, and fully own my creative identity moving forward.

What this means for you:

Streaming Platforms: All past and future music will now be listed under Andy J. Soul on Spotify, Apple Music etc.

Social Media: You can now find and tag me using my updated handles @andyjsoul

Thank you for your incredible, ongoing support. I cannot wait to share the next wave of music with you under this new chapter.

Stay tuned,

Andy J. Soul™
